Nepal's updated BYD Atto 3 has reached the market, according to MeroAuto, which reports that distributor Cimex imported 150 units during Asoj. The publication lists the Advance variant at Rs 62.90 lakh and the Superior at Rs 78 lakh. That puts the gap between the two at Rs 15.10 lakh, compared with Rs 10.90 lakh for the previous versions.
MeroAuto attributes the higher prices partly to changes in how vehicles are taxed on their cost, insurance and freight value. It says the refreshed SUV has revised exterior and cabin details, including a larger rotating central display and ventilated front seats on both variants. Buyers should confirm current quotations and variant equipment with the distributor before ordering, since prices and specifications can change.
For Nepal buyers considering an electric family SUV, the key comparison is no longer just the Atto 3's updated equipment: the substantially wider price difference makes it worth checking which features and battery capacity each variant actually provides for the additional cost.
