Imports of small electric cars to Nepal totalled 313 units from January through October 15, 2026, according to figures reported by MeroAuto. The Kaiyi e-Qute 2 and e-Qute 4 together accounted for 171 of those vehicles, or roughly 55 percent of the small-EV group used in the report.
The next largest count was 56 units for the MG COMET EV, about 18 percent. MeroAuto also listed 24 BAW Brumby imports and smaller volumes across other makes. These are import counts, not a direct measure of retail sales or current showroom stock. The figures therefore indicate which models entered Nepal during the period, but do not by themselves establish that buyer demand has fallen.
For city-car shoppers, the concentration of imports in a few models is useful context when comparing options. Availability can differ by dealer and variant; buyers should verify current local stock, pricing and after-sales support directly.
