Jetour's T2 plug-in hybrid SUV has arrived in Nepal ahead of a planned October 11 introduction, Nepal Drives reported on September 28. Laxmi Motorhub is preparing the brand's local debut, with the smaller T1 PHEV expected to join the T2 in the first lineup.

The T2 combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with plug-in hybrid drive. The reported 18.4 kWh battery has a claimed electric-only range of up to 90 km on the NEDC test cycle. The T1 is also described as a plug-in hybrid, but its Nepal-market equipment has not yet been finalised.

Price remains unconfirmed

Nepal Drives estimated a starting price near Rs 1.55 crore for the T2. That is an expectation, not an official retail price. Buyers should wait for the launch announcement to confirm local variants, equipment, warranty and pricing. Claimed electric ranges are test-cycle figures and may differ in everyday driving.
